But now in an article from Nikkei Asian Review they reported that Apple has needed to double the production numbers of AirPods Pro, due to the increase in demand.

“Apple has increased monthly orders for the latest AirPods Pro from 1 million units to at least 2 million units thanks to healthy demand.”

Just looking at AirPods Pro on Apple’s UK website, the estimated delivery date is now January 3rd. However, Amazon UK have them in stock but at full retail price.

AirPods were launched at the end of 2016 alongside the iPhone 7, which at the same time did away with the headphone jack.
