Elon Musk says that Starlink will no longer be in beta next month

Elon Musk has tweeted out last week that the Starlink satellite broadband service from SpaceX might not be in beta for much longer. When asked on Twitter, Musk said that the service should be out of the beta phase and generally available “next month.”

SpaceX is currently available in North America, Europe and the UK. The company was originally planning on having full worldwide coverage by September, however the planned expansions are now listed to Mexico and Japan.

Just a few months ago in August, the company announced it had shipped 100,000 Starlink units to beta testers.
