Fiat announces new Scudo panel van, with EV option available

Fiat has recently announced its new Scudo panel van, which is the company’s re-entry back into the mid sized van market since the last generation Scudo was discontinued back in 2016. Of course, Fiat is now part of Stellantis which was formed earlier this year and amalgamates the likes of Vauxhall, Peugeot and more and this provides the benefit of re-badging.

The new Fiat Scudo is essentially a Peugeot Expert rebadged, like all the mid sized vans from Stellantis but that does mean there is some variety in the van market, with various price points. The new Scudo will have both combustion and full electric options available when it goes on sale.

The diesel powered versos will be priced from £29,340 and the full electric version from £38,869. The top of the range model will be £49,825, but for that you get the 75kWh battery pack in the BEV version, with 205 miles of range.

In the back there is space for between 5.3 and 6.1 cubic metres of cargo, with a rated capacity for 1.4 tonne.
