Genesis UK reveals prices of new Electrified GV70

New 2025 Genesis Electrified GV70

The new updated Genesis GV70 and Electrified GV70 were shown off in the US, at the LA Auto Show in November 2024. The cars both feature a refreshed interior and the EV model got the addition of the NACS port for the US market. However, while it doesn't look like Genesis will bring the petrol GV70 to the UK, the new electric one is on sale now.

With the last generation, Genesis only offered the one trim level in the UK, with Sport - but now it is expanding the lineup to Pure, Dynamic and Luxury. Prices start at £65,915 for the Pure and rise up to £74,915 for the Luxury, which adds road noise cancellation, panoramic sunroof, ventilated front seats and heated seats in the back.

For the UK market, Genesis hasn't revealed any region specific specifications, but it has done in the US. What we know is that the battery is larger, jumping from 77.4kWh to 84kWh, much like what Hyundai and Kia has done with its latest EVs and this should also bump the range and charging speeds up too.

Jonny Miller, Brand Director for Genesis Motor UK, said the following:

“The facelift version of the Electrified GV70 kicks off our move to refresh our entire electric vehicle line up for 2025. Expanding the Electrified GV70 line-up to three trims means we can now encompass a wider remit of customer convenience and boutique trim possibilities.”

For the UK market, Genesis won't be launching any new pure ICE models, instead it'll be focusing on fully electric and some hybrid models where it makes sense. Also coming soon to the UK should be the refreshed Genesis GV60, itself also gaining a larger battery and improved charging speeds.
