Ford saw huge growth of US EV sales last month

Ford has recently achieved a new milestone in EV sales for the US market. The company saw a sales growth of a whopping 307% last month, as it works to convert its product line to be full electric. This achievement is no small feat, while Ford only has three full EV models on sale.

Ford offers the Mustang Mach-E, F-150 Lightning and the E-Transit. The most popular of the trio was the Mach-E, with 25,765 sold so far in 2022. F-150 Lightning was 6,842 and he E-Transit at 3,938. However, for the electric van, Ford is currently leading the market in terms of commercial EVs, with a 90% share.

By the end of 2022, Ford is among to have 60,000 EVs produced, while looking to increase that to 2 million by 2026. So far, Ford is now offering the F-150 Lightning in all 50 states in the US, with deliveries only starting in May 2022.
