Ford announced the new Transit City at the end of March and its designed as a cost effective electric van, specifically meant for urban use cases. When the van was initially announced, it wasn't clear exactly how much it would cost, but Ford did say that it would be positioned in-between the E-Transit Courier and E-Transit Custom.
However, at the public debut at the Commercial Vehicle Show in April at the NEC, Ford announced the pricing for its new van, and it is actually less than anticipated. Ford has positioned the Transit City at £29,000 in the UK, which gets you the standard H1 version and the taller H2 variant comes in at £31,500. For reference, the entry level diesel Transit Custom is £33,750.
Ford is also listing the Transit City as being eligible for the Government Grant, of between £3,500 and £3,750. However, as of writing it isn't listed on the UK Government website.
