Google launches new app for iOS to control Android TVs

Google launches new app for iOS to control Android TVs

Earlier this month, Google launched a new app for iOS devices which allows them to control a Google TV or Android TV device with an iPhone or iPad. With the new Google TV app, it’ll now be possible to create watchlists, get content recommendations and more. This new app replaces the existing Play Movies and TV app on iOS.

The Google TV app will function as a remote control for a Google TV or Android TV device, useful for using the keyboard on the phone for typing in usernames and passwords. TV shows and movies can be managed by liking or disliking to improve how the TV recommends new content to you, as well as viewing reviews for shows.

The app will also allow you to purchase and rent any movies and tv shows, as well as watch on the go. The app can be downloaded from the App Store now. If you have the Play Movies and TV app, then that app will be auto updated to become the new Google TV app.
