Honda Civic Type R  now discontinued in UK, new model coming soon

Honda has today taken the current generation Civic Type R off of sale in the UK, due to a new model coming soon. Honda has removed the FK8 Honda Civic Type R from its website and its online configurator, the car ended production in July this year.

The Civic Type R was built at Honda’s former factory in Swindon, which the company has since sold. The information on where the next Civic Type R is due to be manufactured is yet to be confirmed, but in all likelihood it’ll be at Honda’s plant in Yorii, Japan.
