Jaguar has announced that its saloon models and the F-Type sports car will stop production in June 2024. The company will be only making SUV vehicles going forward, with the all-electric I-Pace, E-Pace and F-Pace. The Jaguar XF has been on sale and in production since 2008, being revealed shortly after Tata purchased the company from Ford. From 2025 onwards, Jaguar will see a new EV era led by its new 600bhp GT car, which will rival the Porsche Taycan.

Production of the XE, XF and F-Type will stop in June 2024. The Jaguar Castle Bromwich factory in Birmingham will transition to making body panels for its new range of vehicles. As of writing, customers can order a new XE or XF, but they are being built to pre-defined specifications, so any configurable models are now not available.

Going forward into 2025, Jaguar will launch a new 600bhp EV GT car and then in 2026, a large SUV to rival the Bentley Bentayga. The F-Pace is currently manufactured in Solihull and the EV GT car will also be manufactured there.
