After July 29, Microsoft won’t ask you to upgrade to Windows 10

After July 29, Microsoft won’t ask you to upgrade to Windows 10

Initially, when Windows 10 launched for free back in July last year, users running Windows 7 and Windows 8.1 started to get notifications, like the one above reminding them that the new operating system was available to download. A lot of users, some few million didn’t bat an eyelid and upgraded straightaway however there were a lot of people and there still is that are a bit annoyed by the notifications.

Well good news, once the free upgrade period for Windows 10 is over Microsoft will stop nagging users running Windows 7 and 8.1 to upgrade. A developer has confirmed this to WinBeta that the “Get Windows 10” app will disappear after July 29 2016.
