Last week at the 2023 Commercial Vehicle Show at the NEC in Birmingham, Maxus unveiled its brand new eDeliver 7, the third all electric van from the Chinese company. For those keeping track, Maxus is owned by SAIC who also owns MG and the Maxus brand has come from the former British van company, LDV.

We were at the Commercial Vehicle Show last week and spoke to Chris Adams from Maxus about the brand new eDeliver 7, video linked at the bottom of this post. The new van goes head to head with the upcoming Ford E-Transit Custom but will only come as an electric van, Maxus wont be offering any combustion versions.

The eDeliver has two choices of battery packs, with a 77kWh and a 88kWh. With the large battery, the range is quoted at 226 miles. The motor is the same on both models, a 201bhp unit with 330Nm of torque. Like most vans, this one is front wheel drive. Charging speeds havent been confirmed yet, but it will be capable of both AC and DC and charging from 0-80% will take 43 minutes.

For the body sizes and styles, there is the standard panel van (pictured), a high roofed model as well as a window van which will be suitable for conversions. Inside, there are three seats with a large 12.3-inch touchscreen with support for Apple CarPlay and Android Auto.

Prices for the new eDeliver 7 will be announced in June, with the first deliveries to start in August.
