Tesla has been selling its very well regarded V4 cabinets and chargers in various countries as white labeled kits for a while now. These have been offered to practically any business that wants them, with the US seeing way more companies adopt them than most.

In the US, BP Pulse have had a site planned for nearly two years, but many other sites have been completed, including those from EVIO, Victron Energy and more. In the UK, the main customer for Tesla has been EV OTM, which is the EV charging brand from the EG On The Move company, which owns a lot of petrol forecourts in the UK. So far, EV OTM has 34 sites currently operational, with 21 under construction and a further 36 in the planning phase.

EV OTM and Tesla have received some backlash due to how the chargers are displayed on the Tesla screens, often showing up in route planning and charging stops. This has been an issue due to the significantly higher prices that EV OTM charge, compared to the standard Tesla operated sites. EV OTM charge £0.75/kWh, vs the £0.46/kWh max that Tesla charges for Tesla owners and paid members.

Now the latest EV charge provider to start using Tesla V4 chargers seems to be MFG, under its EV Power brand. MFG to date has used a wide variety of chargers, with a lot of newer sites making use of Alpitronic units.

The new proposed MFG site will utilise eight Tesla V4 chargers and is located in Hereford, next door to a Morrisons supermarket. A while back, MFG purchased over 300 petrol forecourts from Morrisons and using them to expand its EV charging network, is one of its plans going forward.

No pricing information is yet available and it's not clear exactly when the site will be finished. We have reached out to MFG for comment regarding if this is a one off use of Tesla chargers, or if it plans on using them going forward in a larger capacity. We'll update this article if MFG responds.
