The new upcoming MG Cyberster has been discussed for the best part of a year at this stage and is due to launch pretty soon. These images are the first anyone outside of MG have seen, the images are from a leaked fillings report made by MG to the Chinese government and give us a glimpse of the front and rear of the car, an all electric sports car with two seats.

The MG Cyberster will be one of the only two seater electric sports to go on sale. Of course, when Tesla got started they launched the original Roadster and its replacement still hasn’t showed up, despite being announced back in 2017. However, the new Cyberster will have two motor configurations available with 309bhp for the single motor and 536bhp for the dual motor.

Inside, MG is said to be using yoke steering wheel, however hopefully the option to spec a round steering wheel will be added. The car was originally going to be revealed at the April Shanghai motor show, however some industry magazines are now suggesting this won’t be the case. Instead, MG will reveal the car in 2024.

The MG Cyberster is said to have a ranger of 497 miles (800km) due to its unique ‘cell-to-pack’ battery. The 0-60mph time will be under 3.0 seconds.
