New refreshed Genesis GV60 now on sale in South Korea

We already know about the new, refreshed Genesis GV60 - as the car was officially unveiled in January 2025. However, the South Korean car company has released some new information, highlighting the chassis changes that have been made, as well as that the car is now on sale in its home country.

As of 6th March 2025, Genesis has put the new GV60 on sale in South Korea, with prices starting at 68,360,000KRW - which works out to be £36,364. Obviously, when imported and tax added, the price will ve likely be the exact same, or slightly more expensive than the current GV60 on sale now in the UK, which starts at £54,845.

Genesis hasn't yet shared the official WLTP range yet, only for the Korean market which is quoted at 481 km - which works out at 298 miles. Considering the outgoing car had up to 321 miles, this should change when the WLTP testing is completed.

In the GV60, the biggest change is the battery capacity, which increases from 77.4kWh to 84kWh. The charging speed should also increase from 240kW to 260kW, just based on the newly refreshed Kia EV6 and Hyundai Ioniq 5. These three cars sit on the same shared 800V E-GMP platform.

When checking the Genesis Korea website, it shows three models being available: Standard 2WD, Standard AWD and Performance AWD with 225bhp, 313bhp and 482bhp respectively.

Genesis will be releasing specifications and pricing for the European market in due course.
