Nissan Leaf refreshed for 2022, on sale in March

Nissan Leaf refreshed for 2022, on sale in March

Nissan has refreshed its iconic electric car, the Leaf for 2022 with a variety of visual improvements, rather than focusing on the core technology and battery specifications. For a start, there are some new funky alloy wheels available in 16-inch and 17-inch sizes as well as the brand new Nissan logo used throughout the car. Nissan is also offering some new paint options, with Pearl Blue and Magnetic Blue brought over from the Qashqai SUV.

As mentioned, Nissan haven’t upgraded or messed with the battery options here, it still has the same 39kWh battery with 168 miles of range, with the upgraded Leaf+ offering a 59kWh battery with a rage of 239 miles. These ranges are of course from the WLTP tests.

Inside the Leaf is the NissanConnect system, which offers the driver the choice of Apple CarPlay or Android Auto and the NissanConnect lets drivers control things like the climate control system from their phone.

The new refreshed model is due to go on sale this March, with prices starting at £26,995 after the UK plug-in-car grant. First customers deliveries are due to then start in April.
