Peugeot drops the price of the e-Rifter MPV

Peugeot has dropped the price of the e-Rifter MPV to a level where it is now eligible for the nationwide plug-in car grant from the government. The entry level e-Rifter Allure Premium is now priced at £30,450 after the grant has been taken into account.

Peugeot and other Stellantis companies have been making changes to their offerings of MPVs, with many becoming electric only, and this price reduction comes after that. The e-Rifter can be had as either a five or seven seater and has a 131bhp motor powered by a 50kWh battery. Range is at 172 miles on one charge.

The e-Rifter does support rapid charging at 100kW and from 0-80% it will take around 30 mins.
