Seat updates the Ibiza with new infotainment and other design tweaks

The week, Seat has launched a new minorly updated version of its Ibiza city car, which sits on the same platform as the current generation Volkswagen Polo. The updated car has had some upgrades inside with the infotainment as well as some design tweaks around the car.

Inside and outside of the Ibiza, Seat has taken some design inspiration from the new Leon, with a hand written model name on the back of the car and LED lights are now standard on all models for headlights and rear lights. Inside, the infotainment screen is now larger and floats above the dashboard rather than being built into the facia. It’s now offered in 8.25-inch or 9.2-inch sizes. Seat has also swapped out the old USB-A ports for USB-C around the car and added lane assist, high beam assist, traffic sign recognition and blindspot warning systems.

Engine wise, the Ibiza now comes in three different choices, 1.0-litre with 79bhp, 94bhp or 108bhp in manual or DSG configurations.
