Spotify Kids expands to the US, Canada and France

Spotify Kids was launched here in the UK last year as well as Argentina, Australia, Brazil, Denmark, Mexico, New Zealand and Sweden. As the name suggests its a much more child friendly music streaming service but understandably it isn’t free of charge like the standard version of Spotify with ads is, instead Spotify Kids is only available as part of the Premium Family subscription.

Spotify Kids has 8,000 songs, all designed to be kid friendly, with a selection of educational songs and songs from Disney, Nickelodeon and others.

“Now, at a time when so many kids are home from school, we’re bringing the experience to even more people as the app rolls out in the U.S., Canada, and France—and we hope parents there will find it useful as well.”
