Suzuki will launch its first electric car in 2025

Suzuki will launch its first electric car in 2025

So far Suzuki hasn’t really got much into the electric car game, the company so far hasn’t had to need it to bring its average fleet CO2 emissions down as the majority of its models are very light had have small engines.

However, all of Suzuki’s model now in the UK are available, or only come with a 48v mild hybrid system. Suzuki is also only able to offer full hybrid models with the Swace and Across, thanks to a partnership with Toyota which involves Suzuki rebadging Toyota models.

Given that there is a deadline for car manufactures to offer a fully electric lineup in the UK by 2030, it is good to see Suzuki making a start, even though it’s first model will be available in 2025.
