Tesla has increased prices for its entire lineup

Tesla has been increasing prices across its lineup this year, with two jumps in price so far in just March. Last week, the company added around $1,000 to its longer range models and now most models have been increased by around $2,000-$3,000 in the US.

For example, the base version Model 3 is now $46,990, a jump of $2,000.  The Model 3 Dual Motor All-Wheel Drive is now $54,490 which marks a $2,500 jump and then finally, the Model 3 Perfroamce is now $61,990 – a $3,000 increase.

The same goes for the Model Y, with similar price increases across the range. However, the worst hit of them all is the Model X which is now $114,990 – a staggering $10,000 price increase.

Elon Musk, Tesla CEO did hint that prices of Tesla models could increase and this just happened overnight. He states that there is inflation market wide for logistics and raw materials.

However, due to ongoing fuel prices which seem to be affecting the US and the UK, Tesla is now seeing a huge surge is new orders, thanks to new interest in electric cars. This news came from Electrek.
