Tesla Model Y is now on sale in the UK

Tesla Model Y is now on sale in the UK

Tesla’s latest all electric car is now on sale here in the UK as well as some other right-hand-drive markets. The Model Y is available now with prices starting at £54,990 for the Long Range All Wheel Drive model. Orders started back in October for the first deliveries to start in early 2022 and here we are, the first customers in the UK are starting to happen.

Initially, Tesla was only planning on bringing the Model Y to Europe and the UK once the Gigafactory Berlin plant was up and running, but the company has recently been shipping cars over from Shanghai to help with the demand here. Deliveries of the Model Y for customers started this week in the UK, Wales, Scotland, and Northern Ireland.

So far, the Model 3 in the UK has proven very popular, with over 34,000 sold here since it went on sale making it the best selling EV here.
