The new Volkswagen ID.4 all electric SUV is now on sale in the UK

The all new Volkswagen ID.4 is now on sale in the UK with prices starting at £37,800 for now. The only model available straight out of the gate is the ID.4 1st Edition with less expensive models coming later this year, much like how the launch of the ID.3 has gone. The ID.4 1st Edition has a 77kWh battery pack as standard with a range of 310 miles.

Orders can be made now and the first deliveries will start in March 2021. The ID.4 has a single motor on the rear, making the car rear wheel drive with a four wheel drive model coming later this year. The motor has 205bhp and 310Nm of torque. 0-60mph is handled in 8.2 seconds, which for a car of its weight is pretty nippy. Range is 310 miles WLTP (410km).The

The 1st Edition has lots of extras to make it stand out such as 1st Edition badges inside and outside, with a10-inch touchscreen infotainment system, heated seats, heated steering wheel, ambient cabin lighting, LED headlights and rear lights, reverse parking camera, adaptive cruise control and machine-cut 20-inch wheels all as standard.
