Toyota EVs in the US now support Apple Maps EV Routing

Toyota bZ Apple Maps EV Routing

Toyota has announced that its EVs that are on sale in the US are now compatible with the EV Routing option for Apple Maps. This feature is only available in the US for select electric vehicles from Ford and Porsche, but now Toyota EVs are included in that list.

Toyota has specified that its EVs that are 2023 and newer are compatible, which also includes the latest Toyota bZ. This feature means that both Apple Maps and the vehicle are in constant communication to work out where to charge, when and how for how ling. Throughout the journey it'll plan any stops that are needed in realtime.

Toyota has said that any new electric vehicles it sells in the US that come with Toyota Audio Multimedia can enableApple Maps EV Routing from Apple CarPlay.
