Ubiquiti launches three new network racks, in either 12U or 42U

Today, Ubiquiti has added three new network racks to its store to fit a variety of needs. Ubiquiti has two 12U wall mountable units and one super large 42U freestanding rack, complete with wheels. All three racks come preinstalled with a temperature sensor and fan, which is pretty neat.

The cheapest model is the 12U Slim and costs £456 in the UK or $499 in the US. The slight difference between the standard 12U and the 12U Slim is the depth, as the standard rack has a hinged, lockable rear door. Both 12U units come fully assembled, have a tempered glass front and have removable side panels.

The jump between 12U and 42U is obviously pretty large. The 42U rack cabinet is floor standing, has a large tempered glass door, removable side panels and also has the integrated fan with temperature sensor. The 42U rack cabinet costs £1,284 in the UK or $1,399 in the US.
