Ubiquiti starts offering CloudKey+ with SSD preinstalled

Ubiquiti has recently started offering the CloudKey+, previously known as the Cloud Key Gen2+ with an SSD preinstalled. Ever since the CloudKey+ was introduced, it has always been shipped with a 1TB 2.5-inch Toshiba hard drive and this is the first time Ubiquiti has changed the configuration of the device.

The new SSD version will undoubtedly offer better performance for the applications that the CloudKey+ can run, such as UniFi Protect, UnIFi Network, UniFi Talk and others.

The SSD variant of the CloudKey+ costs $249 in the US and is available from the official Ubiquiti Store. The original HDD version is still available for $199.
