Vauxhall announces new cheaper Yes Edition of the petrol Corsa

In early March, Vauxhall revealed the new Yes Edition of the Corsa Electric, which at the time was the cheapest new EV in the UK, something which has been surpassed by the new Dacia Spring. However, that car is now available to order from today and prices start from £26,895 in the UK. The EV version has a 50kWh battery pack, 134bhp motor and 221 miles of range.

In the meantime, Vauxhall has also revealed a new Yes Edition trim level of the standard petrol Corsa, which is now £2,030 cheaper than before priced from £18,505 making it the cheapest Corsa available. On both cars, the Yes Edition is a mash up of the styling form the GS trim level with black logo, visor front end and other contrasting elements for a cheaper price. Also available is the new exclusive ‘Record Red’ paint.

Inside, you get ‘Yes Edition’ branding on the dash as well as a 10-inch infotainment screen with support for wireless Apple CarPlay and Android Auto. For the engine, Vauxhall has fitted the 99bhp 1.2-litre petrol engine which is actually more powerful than the one found in the pricier Design trim.

Order books are open today for both the EV and petrol versions, with deliveries starting in June.
