New Skywell BE11 announced for the UK, first deliveries in September

Skywell has revealed its new SUV, the BE11 which will be the first car offered from the country in the UK. The company will make it available to pre-order from August 2024 and the first deliveries will start in September. Skywell isn't directly selling cars in the UK, instead being offered and imported by Innovation Automotive, a company which is also offering Chinese EVs from Seres and DFSK, as well as Skywell. Prices for the BE11 are also yet to be announced.

The BE11 is a mid-size SUV, sitting at 4,720mm long, by 1,908mm wide and 1,696mm tall. Skywll is using a NMC lithium-ion battery, with the option of either a 72kWh or 86kWh pack. WLTP range is quoted at 258 miles in the smaller unit and 304 miles in the larger version. Both are capable of AC an DC charging, with AC at 11kW but DC figures have not yet been quoted, but 20-70% can be achieved in around 36 mins.

Elsewhere from IA Electric Vehicles, the Seres 3 is a similar sized SUV and the DFSK EC35 is a small delivery van. A lot of Chinese car manufactures are entering the UK with the likes of Seres, Skywell, Omoda, GWM Ora, Maxus, BYD, MG, Jaecoo and more.
