This evening, at a Volkswagen Media Night - the company has unveiled the long awaited concept of the ID. EVERY1, the German car company's smallest EV to date. This is the second model to come from Volkswagen since the concept of the ID. 2all was revealed in 2023 and it uses the brand's new design language.
Volkswagen has said that the ID. EVERY1 is in the up! class and comes in with a length of 3,800mm, height of 1,490mm and a width of 1,816mm. When you compare this to the outgoing e-up! for example, it is slightly larger in every metric. The up! is 3,600mm long, 1,645mm wide and and 1,492 tall.

Although the ID. EVERY1 concept is slightly larger than the up!, Volkswagen is positioning this in-between the existing combustion Polo and the outgoing up!. The car will sit on a modified version of the new front-wheel-drive MEB Entry platform, which is set to underpin the latests small cars coming from the VW Group, such as the ID.2, Cupra Raval and Skoda Epiq.
Volkswagen hasn't revealed battery specifications or chemistry, but range is claimed at 155 miles. The motor is modest, making 94bhp and should give the car a top speed of 81mph.
Volkswagen has revealed some interior photos of what we can expect. There is a central display with physical buttons for the volume and climate located underneath, which is a huge upgrade over previous systems in the ID.3. Much like the ID.7, there is a digital display for the driver information which isn't as tall as previous screens seen in other ID models. Also, a two spoke steering wheel with square shape and lots of physical buttons.

Inside, a removalable Bluetooth speaker is mentioned as being a centre piece of the interior and sits in-between the driver and passenger.
The ID.1 is supposed to arrive in the UK in 2027, with prices targeted at €20,000.
