Windows 10 10130 preview launches, with better icons and UI

Windows 10 10130 preview launches, with better icons and UI

Not long after build 10122 debuted, another build of Windows 10 has launched. Build 10130 is available for users who are in the fast ring and as we come up to the release date, Microsoft is focusing on polishing the operating system, making improvements and tweaking certain elements.

For starters, Windows 10 now includes refreshed system icons as well as taskbar and Start menu improvements.

The Notification Panel now features the Aero effect, as do the Network and Volume controls.

Continuum, which is the system in Windows 10 for making moving from tablet and PC mode easier has also seen changes. The tablet mode now acts more like Windows 8.1 and users can also unpin and pin Cortana from the taskbar.

Windows 10 is launching on July 29 and Windows 7 and Windows 8.1 users are starting to see notifications about upgrading.
