Windows 10 to launch this summer for PC

Windows 10 to launch this summer for PC

Even with the Build conference last week, we still don’t have an official release date for the new operating system. But Joe Belfiore, the vice president of operating systems at Microsoft has said that Windows 10 will be launching a bit later on phone and Xbox with PC being the main focus for the company.

Windows 10 has been in “development” stage since September and Insiders have been testing it. Also to add to the disappointment, Windows 10 for PC won’t have all of the features that we have seen when it launches on PC.

Belfiore has said “Our intent is to make this (Windows 10) the largest single developer platform that developers can target.”

Windows 10 brings back the start menu from Windows 7 and the modern design of Windows 8. New features such as deep integration with Xbox One, universal apps for Windows Phone and Cortana on the desktop.
