MWC this year, (Mobile World Congress) has been cancelled due to fears of the coronavirus virus and many companies have refused to go, including Intel, LG, Nokia and others.

Mobile World Congress is held every year in Barcelona, Spain and most major wireless industry companies and mobile phone manufactures attend to show off new hardware and phones.

“With due regard to the safe and healthy environment in Barcelona and the host country today, the GSMA has cancelled MWC Barcelona 2020 because the global concern regarding the coronavirus outbreak, travel concern and other circumstances, make it impossible for the GSMA to hold the event.”
