Apple releases iOS 14.2.1 but only for iPhone 12

Apple has recently released a minor update for iPhone 12 models only, so iPhone 12, iPhone 12 Pro, iPhone 12 Pro Mac and of course the iPhone 12 mini. iOS 14.2.1 fixes a new issues related to MMS messages, lock screen issues for the iPhone 12 mini and others.

Release Notes

iOS 14.2.1 addresses the following issues for your iPhone:

  • Some MMS messages may not be received
  • Made for iPhone hearing devices could have sound quality issues when listening to audio from iPhone
  • Lock Screen could become unresponsive on iPhone 12 mini

How to update

As ever, you can update by going to Settings > General > Software Update on your iPhone, iPod touch or iPad or by updating via iTunes on Windows and older macOS versions, or via the Finder on newer macOS versions.
