Tesla launches new cheaper RWD Model Y in China

Tesla has recently launched a more affordable version of the Model Y in China, its smaller all electric SUV. The Model Y RWD Standard Range is not on sale anywhere else, by the looks of it, as it used to be on sale in the US earlier this year. This version costs $42,000 and has 244 miles of range.

In China, this car comes in at ¥276,000 or $42,500 which helps it take advantage of the electric car incentive in China of ¥15,840. In China, the estimated range is 326 miles.

Customers can expect to get the new Model Y RWD Standard Range by August.
