Vauxhall reveals price for new electric Movano-e, on sale now

Vauxhall has put its new all electric Movano-e van on sale in the UK, with prices starting at £61,085. Vauxhall announced the new van back at the end of May and it joins the other large vans in the Stelanits group, with the Fiat e-Ducato, Citroen e-Relay and others.

Movano-e has the choice of two batteries, 37kWh and 70kWh with a maximum range of 139 miles. The motor is 90kW, equal to 122bhp and the top speed is capped at 68mph to maximise the range. Prices for this start at £61,085 and is on sale now. Vauxhall has housed the battery in the floor of the van and this has no affect on the load capacity, with the battery helping the van be more stable thanks to the very low centre of gravity.

Vauxhall is also offering the Movano with a combustion engine still, with a diesel 2.2-litre four-cylinder engine with 138bhp or 163bhp. Prices for the diesel Movano start at £30,755.
