Škoda announces new Karoq with updates styling and new tech

Škoda has recently introduced a new updated version of its smaller SUV, the Karoq. Škoda has made some changes to the technology that the car comes with as well as some exterior design changes. On the outside the LED headlights are slimmer with a new body coloured rear spoiler at the back. The fuel tank also has a new more aerodynamically efficient design.

The Karoq is more sustainable than before too, with a new optional Eco pack which looks to use more eco friendly materials throughout, such as vegan leather free seat materials and on some of the models, microsuede on the door trim.

For the new technology added, Škoda has added a new 8-inch drivers display which replaces the manual dials from the old model. This comes standard on the entry level SE Drive model and also displays the front assist, pedestrian protection, adaptive cruise control and traffic sign recognition systems.

Inside, Apple CarPlay and Android Auto are included as standard and there is the option of having wireless phone charging.

Škoda is set to release the new Karoq next year, but prices are yet to be revealed.
