MG has launched a new cheaper variant of its MG ZS EV this week, with 198 miles of range at a £27,495 price tag. This now makes it one of the cheapest electric SUVs on sale in the UK, with a much improved range over the standard model by 35 miles.

MG has boosted the power output on this model from 141bhp up to 173bhp and a 0-60mph time of 8.0 seconds, faster by 0.5 seconds.

Delevies to the first customers of the new MG ZS EV Standard Range will start later this month.
