Brand new MG 5 EV estate now on sale in the UK, priced from £30,995

MG has put the all new revised MG 5 EV estate on sale in the UK, with prices starting at £30,995. The new has been completely redesigned on the outside with a much more modern look as well as more equipment as standard and increased towing power.

MG started offering the MG 5 EV in the UK back in 2017 and has now been replaced by the latest, second generation model. This is sold alongside the MG ZS EV SUV which has also been recently redesigned.

The 5 EV has two trim levels, SE and Trophy. The base model comes with automatic LED headlights, roof rails, adaptive cruise control, a rear parking camera and Apple CarPlay and Android Auto. This model is £30,995.

The higher specced Trophy has everything SE has, but adds automatic climate control, leather seats, privacy glass in the rear, 17-inch alloy wheels and a larger 10.25-inch infotainment screen which supports Apple CarPlay and Android Auto. This model is £33,495.

At the moment, MG is not able to reveal the range of the new MG 5 EV, but before the car arrives in the UK the company will publish the range, charging speeds or battery sizes.

The new MG 5 EV is on sale now, with the first deliveries to customers due later this year. Prices start at £30,995, a jump from the last generation which cost from £24,995.
