All new Jeep Grand Cherokee PHEV on sale now in the UK, priced from £69,900

Jeep has recently launched the new Jeep Grand Cherokee here in the UK. The new top of the range model is priced from £69,900 and only comes as a hybrid variant. Jeep will stop selling pure-combustion models in Europe later this year, but this won’t include Italy. By 2025, Jeep CEO has said that there will be the option of a pure-electric model in “every major SUV segment”.

In terms of the engine and power, the new Jeep Grand Cherokee PHEV has a 2.0-litre four-cylinder petrol engine making 375bhp from the plug in hybrid system combined. The battery pack is 17kWh and when used in EV only mode, you’ll get 32 miles of range.

Inside, there is a dual-screen infotainment system with a dedicated 10-inch infotainment screen for the front passenger to use. The driver gets the benefit of a 10.25-inch screen for the digital dials and a heads display too. Standard ‘Limited’ models come with a lot as standard, with 20-inch alloy wheels, LED headlights, automatic high beams lane keep assist and many other driver safety systems.

Jeep has also integrated its latest Uconnect 5 system into the Grand Cherokee, which supports Apple CarPlay, Android Auto and Amazon Alexa.

Bumping up to the higher specced models, you get nappa leather upholstery, 19-speaker sound system and a panoramic sunroof.

The new Jeep Grand Cherokee PHEV is due to be delivering to customers in early 2023, prices start at £69,900 and go all the way up to £82,900 for the Summit Reserve.
