Since Apple has launched Apple Arcade, its new gaming subscription service – the company has added in Xbox One controller and Sony PlayStation controller support into iOS 13, tvOS 13, iPadOS 13 as well as macOS Catalina. And now that Apple is focusing on gaming a bit more than it used to, Apple has now listed the Xbox One S controller for sale up on its online retail store on apple.com.

Typically, the controller is a little more expensive than it would be on some other websites at £54.95, but Apple rarely does discounts on third party accessories. This move is very much an ‘un-apple’ thing to do, but Apple has been selling Microsoft Office licences on its online store as well as in the physical retails stores for a number of years, and very recently Office joined the Mac App Store.

Although with iOS 13 (and all the other updates) Xbox and PlayStation controllers are supported, the PlayStation DualShock 4 isn’t anywhere to be found on Apple’s Store, but it may come soon.
