Apple sets deadline of 11th April for US employees to return to the office

Apple has set a new deadline of 11th April for its US based employees to return to Apple Park and other offices. This news comes from Bloomberg.

Apple is keen for employees to return to the offices and the company is planning on a hybrid working schedule going forward, the Bloomberg report suggested that employees would be required to work from the office at least one day a week, with it slowly increasing to two days, then three days a week by the end of May.

Apple CEO, Tim Cook sent a memo out to employees stating the upcoming change in working.

“For many of you, I know that returning to the office represents a long-awaited milestone and a positive sign that we can engage more fully with the colleagues who play such an important role in our lives. For others, it may also be an unsettling change.”

Apple and other big tech companies have had their employees work from home since the very start of the pandemic, companies such as Google and Twitter said that staff could work from home indefinitely a while ago, but Tim Cook and Apple is more keen to see faces back in the offices.
