BMWs last V12 car is to be a limited edition 7 Series on sale in the US

BMW will be offering a new 7 Series soon, with the very last V12 engine the company will be offering. The 2022 M760Li xDrive will be an extremely limited edition and only on sale in the US.

The differences between the standard model are quite hidden away, on the outside there are some small distinguishing features such as some V12 badges on the boot lid and rear pillar. There are also some unique alloy wheels and sill plates with “The Final V12” written to identify the cars.

BMW is only planning on making twelve examples with a unique identification number on the centre console to let the owner know which one they have. However, they’ll only be sold by invitation only, to people have owned a BMW V12 before – however the car will cost $200,000 (£147,000) plus an extra $995 (£700) for shipping.

BMW’s last V12 engine is a huge 6.6-litre unit with 601bhp with four wheel drive and an automatic 8-speed gearbox.
