Ford Mustang Mach-E refreshed for US market

Ford has refreshed the Mustang Mach-E for the US market this week, now consisting of four models with Select, Premium, GT and Rally. The GT Performance Edition has been discounted in favour for a new ‘Performance Upgrade’ – something the Rally trim level comes standard as with. Across the entire lineup, Ford has improved the performance, range and charging speed but the Mach-E hasn’t changed in any other way.

The larger battery pack can now be charged faster, around 20% so in fact. That pack now takes 36 mins to go from 10-80%, nine minutes faster than before. Ford has also improved the acceleration, which is now down to just 3.3 seconds from 0-60mph – a fact they were quick to note is faster than the Tesla Model Y Performance and the Porsche Macan 4 Electric.

Prices in the US start at $39,995 and top out at $59,995 for the Rally.
