New entry level Tesla Cybertruck debuts, at a much lower price tag

Cheaper 2026 Tesla Cybertruck

The Tesla Cybertruck has gained a new cheaper variant in the US, with the new Dual Motor All Wheel Drive and has replaced the outgoing Rear Wheel Drive version that was introduced in 2025.

This new variant comes in at a much lower price of $59,990, which is $10,000 less than the RWD model, and $20,000 less than the next model up, dubbed Premium AWD.

Like with the latest iteration of the Model Y and Model 3, the Cybertruck now uses a similar model hierarchy, with the base model being RWD, then moving up to Premium and then Performance, or in this case the Cyberbeast.

The Cyberbeast has also had a price cut of around $15,000 and now starts at $99,990.

Standard equipment on this new RWD mode includes four wheel steering, powered bed cover and new fabric seats, rather than leather - again something we have seen on the entry level Model 3 & Y.

Elsewhere, the rear 9.4-inch screen has been removed and there are less speakers than before, dropping from 15 to 7.

Lastly the wheels are smaller with a new 18-inch 'Core' design. Jumping up to the Premium then adds 20-inch wheels.

The rated towing capacity also dropped from 11,000 lbs to 7,500 lbs (4,990kg - 3,400kg) and the charging speed is slightly slower, although specific speeds are not yet shared.

The new RWD Cybertruck is available now to order in the US, with prices from $59,990.
