Hotel Chocolat has updated its app this week to support Apple Wallet, after the loyalty card launched back 2015 albeit to a limited number. However, as the more and more loyalty cards we collect, the ever growing need for it to be digital and available through Apple Wallet increases. This week the company updated its app and while it only hits the bare minimum in terms of features, it does at least allow quick and easy offline access to the card.

To add the card to Apple Wallet, tap on ‘My Account’, tap the VIP.ME card and then tap ‘Add to Apple Wallet’.

Apple Wallet has been available since iOS 6, when it used to be called Passbook and over the years, more and more companies and services have adopted it from airlines, coffee shops, supermarkets and more.

For more information about adding other loyalty card from apps and shops in the UK to Apple Wallet, see our full Apple Wallet UK Guide.
