Jaguar announces the F-Type 75 special edition, marking the final year of the car

Yesterday, Jaguar revealed that F-Type production is coming to an end, and to mark the final year of production the company is launching a new special, limited edition model of the car. The F-Type 75 will have a number of special features over the standard car, complete with ‘F-Type 75’ badges.

The Jaguar F-Type was launched back in 2013 as the direct replacement for the XK. The XK was built in a time when Jaguar was strapped for cash and while it served the company very well, it needed something more modern. Returning to the E-Type style naming, moving one letter on was certainly fitting and during its run, the F-Type was offered with a V8, V6 and more recently with a 296bhp four-cylinder.

During the final year of the F-Type, Jaguar will be offering it with either a 296bhp four-cylinder, or with two different V8 engines. One V8 will have 444bhp and the other with 567bhp, in the form of the F-Type R.

The F-Type 75 models will have gloss black wheels, Windsor leather performance seats, a unique new Giola Green paint as well as many special touches inside the cabin. Jaguar hasn’t changed anything drastic for this special edition, but once the F-Type has finished its limited run, the range will then only consist of the F-Pace, E-Pace, XF and XE.

The new F-Type 75 will start being delivered to customers in January 2023. Prices are from £78,330 for the RWD V8 car and all the way uptown £108,065 for the F-Type R 75 AWD convertible. Jaguar will still offer the entry level four-cylinder engine, but these models won’t have the option for any special anniversary editions. Prices for the four-cylinder car start from £62,235.
