Microsoft introduces new Xbox Wireless Headset

This week Microsoft has introduced a new wireless gaming headset for the Xbox but it’ll also work with PC too. It comes in at £89 / $100 and has support for spatial audio and Dolby Atmos.

Microsoft has said that the new headset works seamlessly with the Xbox Wireless protocol, ensuring very low audio lag and no voice issues. The headset has a new dual beamforming microphone which can manage to isolate any voice picked up if for instance the background noise is quite high.

Thankfully the Xbox Wireless Headset uses standard bluetooth so can it can be used with a PC, Xbox and any other devices. USB-C is used for charging with a cable included in he box.

Pre-orders started this week with a release date of 16th March 2021.
