Today Seat has put the new facelifted Ibiza hatchback on sale, with prices starting at £16,945. Seat announced the updated car earlier this year in April with a handful of useful enhancements including USB-C throughout the car, LED headlights as standard on all models and a new infotainment screen.
Seat has retained the same models with SE, SE Technology, FR, FR Sport, Xcellence and Xcellence Lux. In terms of engines, Seat is offering the same ones as last time, with a 1.0-litre three cylinder with 79bhp unturbocharged, a 94bhp engine with turbocharging and a more powerful 108bhp engine too.
Other changes include a new look to the model name on the back of the car, its now in a hand written font, to match Seats other models as well as wireless Apple CarPlay and Android Auto.
Models
The entry level Ibiza SE comes with 15-inch alloy wheels, automatic LED headlights as well as some driver assistance tech with cruse control, lane assistance and autonomous emergency braking. Inside, the Ibiza comes with a leather steering wheel, USB-C ports and a new larger infotainment screen at 8.25-inches. The SE starts at £16,945.
Jumping up to the SE Technology gets you larger 16-inch alloy wheels, voice console and a larger infotainment screen, at 9.2-inches. SE Technology starts at £17,875.
Up again takes you to the FR, which has larger 17-inch alloys and red interior ambient lighting. Sports seats are also added as well as paddle shifters on the steering wheel for DSG models. The FR starts at £19,285.
FR Sport adds even larger 18-inch alloy wheels and a larger infotainment screen, at 10.25-inches. FR Sport starts at £20,140.
Jumping up to the Xcellence, these models add more comfort add ons, with 17-inch alloys, rear parking sensors, keyless ago and an armrest in the front. Seat also adds softer suspension. The Xcellence starts at £19,500.
Bumping up to the Xcellence Lux gets you adaptive cruise control, rear-view camera with front and rear parking sensor as well as a traffic sign recognition system. Xcellence Lux starts at £20,350.
