Nike FuelBand owners will get $25 back following lawsuit

Nike FuelBand owners will get $25 back following lawsuit

Nike and Apple have had some issues and to compensate this, every owner of the Nike+ FuelBand will be getting a $25 Nike gift card, thanks to Nike and Apple. Recently, the two companies have had a lawsuit regarding the FuelBand’s ability to track steps..

The plaintiffs agreed that Nike and Apple made incorrect claims about the FuelBand and the device’s ability accurately track steps, calories and NikeFuel points. Following this, both companies then didn’t follow through with the appropriate warranty procedures.

Customers who purchased the FuelBand from day one of the release of the fitness tracker on January 19th 2012 to June 17th 2015 will be able to collect the $25 gift card to $15 cheque. To apply to receive the payment, go to this website. Customers have until January 4th to make a claim.
