Maeving launches new two-seater electric motorcycle

Maeving RM2

Maeving, a Coventry based company who is known for making stylish electric motorcycles has launched a brand new model, the RM2. This new version is technically identical to the RM1S, but it can now carry two people.

The RM2 has the same dual removable batteries, each with 2.73 kWh of capacity, for a total of 5.46 kWh. Range is rated at 80 miles. The batteries can be carried indoors to charge from a three pin socket which will take 6 hours from 0-100% or 4 hours from 20-100%.

While the RM2 doesn't support DC rapid charging, it can be used with a Type 2 charger if required, using the optional adaptor. However, the adaptor is an £145 add on and needs to be sheltered from rain and moisture.

Like like with the RM1S, riders can still add on a side bag and choose K-Tech shock absorbers.

Prices in the UK start at £7,995 and Maeving offers finance and 14 day returns. Ordering the bike now will see a delivery in mid-November.
