Nintendo announces new Mario themed switch, available next month

Today Nintendo has announced a new Mario themed edition of the Switch and it is definitely kid friendly, with bright intense red and blue colours. The Switch itself and docking station is bright red, as are the Joy-Cons, with blue insides, the dock for the Joy-Cons is bright blue and the included case is red with yellow zips.

The ‘Mario Red & Blue Edition’ as it is called is launching next month on the 12th February for the same price as a standard Switch, at $299 (£240) and only select stores will be stocking it, including direct from Nintendo.
